1 day a man came residence from work and discovered his wife had left him. This was entirely out with the blue and totally unexpected. There was a note on the kitchen table telling him that after 15 years of marriage she had identified an individual else and she was leaving him for the new individual. She had cooked a load of meals for him and put them inside the freezer and she had washed and ironed all of his clothes and given him the name of a lady that could come in and clean and do his washing and so on.
We asked our client what it was he wanted us to do for him. He was in shock and could hardly get the words out. We calmed him down and got him to tell us every little thing he could think of about the scenario. He was not suspicious of her and yet another person. He believed she was pleased and if she wasn’t he assumed she would tell him. His wife was a residence wife and had not worked since they had been married. Our client was fairly old fashioned and did not want her to work. She had some pals that she would go shopping with and she belonged to the gym.
Our client said that he just wanted to speak to her to find out why she left. He didn’t have a clue where she could have gone and she even left her mobile telephone behind. We asked his neighbours if they had seen her leave. A man had come to collect her in a red automobile and 1 with the neighbours had thankfully taken the automobile reg number. We produced some enquiries and got a name and address. We went round there on behalf with the client and his wife was there. We told her that he was truly upset but just required to know why she had left. She agreed to call him and gave him the cause why she left.
